Blue tit~ meantán gorm
This pendant features a miniature Blue tit which I handcrafted from polymer clay before casting in solid Sterling silver. Blue tits are a much beloved bird of our native Irish wildlife, it's impossible not to be charmed by their incredible displays of mischief and bravery despite their tiny statures. In sculpting this piece I did my very best to capture that charm and character that we all know and love.
To create this necklace I work with a professional casting company who make the most beautifully detailed Sterling silver casts from my original miniature sculptures. I then finish each one entirely by hand so that all the intricate details of the original piece are perfectly captured.

The chain is 20 inches long included the pendant.
