Foxglove~ Lus na mBan Sí
Symbolism: Healing, Faerie Magic, Divine connection
This pendant features a Foxglove flower which I hand-sculpted before casting in Sterling silver.
Few flowers can rival the Foxglove as the favourite flower of the Faeries, one of it's Irish names 'Méaracáin Na mBan Sí' translates to thimbles of the Banshee. They are said to ward off evil and even break a hex but like many sacred fairy plants, it's terribly bad luck to bring them indoors.
All the little details of my original miniature sculpture are accented with a darkening patina.
The pendant is finished with a 20 inch chain, if you need a different length please just let me know.
