Buttercup ~ Fearbán
Language of Flowers & Symbolism: Happiness, friendship and youthfulness
This little pendant features a bright yellow Buttercup gathered from my garden and encased in eco-resin in a sterling silver bezel which I hand form from sterling silver wire.
Buttercups have long been a symbol of happiness, joy and childhood. In Ireland children play a game where you hold a buttercup under your chin, a gold glow determines that you do indeed like butter!
Please note, some of these lockets will inevitably have what are called 'water spots' in the resin world, these are slightly darker patches on the petals where the resin has worked it's way into the interior of the petals. The size of the flowers will also vary slightly, some are a little smaller than the piece shown in the photos.
Your piece will come packaged safely in one of my beautiful signature gift boxes complete with a thank you card that explains the heritage of the piece and a care instruction card. If you'd like me to include a hand-written note on your behalf, just leave a note in the 'message to seller' box at checkout.
