€70.00– Sold Out
The first piece of my new broken china collection is finally here! These pendants are made with repurposed bone china, each piece is laboriously hand cut and sanded before being encased in lead-free solder using the Tiffany technique, more commonly used for making stained glass. The pendant is finished on a sterling silver chain with wire wrapped gemstone beads.
The solder comprises sterling silver, copper and tin and so will require more regular polishing than regular sterling silver to maintain a very shiny finish. To polish your pendant gently rub the sides up and down with a silver polishing cloth or a cloth with some silver polish added to it, being careful to avoid putting too much pressure on the bail at the top.
Please bear in mind, as I hand cut each pendant without any fancy machinery, these necklaces will vary in shape and size making each one totally unique. The one you receive will more than likely not be the piece in the photos above but will be just as sweet.
Your piece will come packaged safely in one of my beautiful signature gift boxes complete with a thank you card that explains the heritage of the piece and a care instruction card.
