Real Irish heather earrings on Sterling silver studs

These enchanting pair of real flower earrings were made by encapsulating real Irish heather blossoms from my walks in West Cork in two tiny crystal-clear resin spheres. These sweet little floral fairy earrings would make a beautiful addition to any summer outfit or thoughtful gift for any nature lover and any occasion.

Heather (Fraoch as Gaeilge) is a fairy plant in Irish lore and apart from bringing good luck it is said that the fairies are especially partial to nibbling on the tender young flower tips. The resin brings to plants to life to create a vivid piece of jewellery that will never die, the 10mm globes are slightly flattened in shape and are mounted onto 925 sterling silver posts.

Your earrings will arrive safely packaged in one of my beautiful signature gift boxes, ready for gift-giving and with no need for further wrapping (see images above).

Please be aware that there may be some very small bubbles in your piece. Someone recently described them as resembling little dew droplets sitting on the flowers & leaves and I like to think they add their own little touch of life to each piece <3

Please take care to keep your jewellery dry and store it away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If you would like to polish your piece you can use a microfiber cloth with some polish such as T-cut or Novus or even just a drop of olive oil, polishing in a circular motion.

Ruby Robin specializes in unique, keepsake jewellery for the modern day romantic. All the designs were imagined and made by Irish designer Khrystyna Marriott. The pieces at Ruby Robin are designed to allow the quiet beauty of nature to shine, to stir the imagination, inspire wonder and encapsulate a microcosm of long forgotten memories. I make my jewellery using a range of strange and beautiful curiosities, found in the woods and on the mountain sides, on the windswept beaches and wild meadows.
