This ethereal pair of jewel tone, pressed flower earrings were made using the smallest and most colorful flowers and petals I could find from my garden. Featuring a mix of turquoise blue hydrangea, Queen Annes lace, and Alyssum which I grew, gathered and pressed before setting them carefully under a dome of crystal clear eco-resin where they will last a life time.
The crystal-clear resin brings the little flowers to life so they look like they are glowing in their bezels and all the delicate intricacies of the flowers are magnified. The petals are preserved inside and won't wilt or fade, a beautiful keepsake for any nature lover or gardener.
Once dry, I carefully arrange the flowers inside their tiny bezels into a miniature wreath formation. An exquisitely detailed process achieved with only the finest of tweezers and a keen eye for the smallest details.
These little earrings are 10mm across and quite a dainty piece of jewellery but one that delivers quite a punch of wonderful, vibrant colours to any ensemble.
Your piece will come packaged safely in one of my beautiful signature gift boxes complete with a thank you card that explains the heritage of the piece and a care instruction card. If you'd like me to include a hand-written note on your behalf, just leave a note in the 'message to seller' box at checkout.
Please take care to keep your jewellery dry and store it away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Ruby Robin specializes in unique, keepsake jewellery for the modern day romantic. All the designs were imagined and made by Irish designer Khrystyna Marriott. The pieces at Ruby Robin are designed to allow the quiet beauty of nature to shine, to stir the imagination, inspire wonder and encapsulate a microcosm of long forgotten memories. I make my jewellery using a range of strange and beautiful curiosities, found in the woods and on the mountain sides, on the windswept beaches and wild meadows.
