This real wildflower pendant was made using a tiny mustard yellow buttercup (Fearban as Gaeilge) which I found in my garden here in West Cork earlier this summer.
I carefully dried and encapsulated the flower in crystal clear eco-resin to create a beautiful keepsake from the Irish countryside to carry with your wherever you go. I don't think any other flower epitomizes summer quite as much as the happy and humble little buttercup growing brightly in our meadows and roadside hedges!
The resin brings to plants to life to create a vivid piece of jewellery that will never wilt or die, the flower is perfectly dried and preserved inside the sphere.
These globe measure about 16mm.
The cap connecting the globe to the chain is silver-toned alloy.
The chain is sterling silver and measures 18 inches in length.
This would make such a lovely gift for any lover of nature and flowers, of summer meadows and bright colours, a passionate gardener or someone who just appreciates the pretty little things in life.
As this piece was made real flowers and plants, take care to keep to store it safely away from direct sunlight when you're not wearing it. Please note there may be some small bubbles trapped in the resin.
Your piece will come packaged safely in one of my beautiful signature gift boxes complete with a thank you card that explains the heritage of the piece and a care instruction card. If you'd like me to include a hand-written note on your behalf, just leave a note in the 'message to seller' box at checkout.
